Links   Welcome

My love affair with this remarkable breed began in 1972, the day I saw my first Rottweiler, but I was not able to purchase a dog for myself until 1980. This dog was Hanahaus Our Hassar a son of the English import Guiding Flame who, in turn, was the son of Hasso Vom Marchenwald.

When you have a Rottweiler in your home the love for the dog becomes something more, as you get to know the wonderful "human" qualities of this breed. They are very close companions, dedicated to owner and family. In the home environment the Rottweiler is calm, intuitive, loving, loyal, playful and funny.

The natural instinct and desire to protect is ever-present but not seen unless very strong measures are necessary to protect owner and home.

BREEDING PROGRAM AND HISTORY

History
Androssen Franca

I learnt very early in my experience with breeding that the future of the breed rests with the bitches. Therefore, in 1990, a little bitch came into my life and she was to be the foundation and matriarch of the Voneiffel Rottweilers. I purchased Androssen Franca from good friend, Barbara Levy, in Sydney.

Natalie, as she was known, was tightly line bred. All the subsequent litters for the next 16 years came down from Natalie and there is a spark of her unique personality in all of them.

It was a case of staying with a proven formula as Natalie was a neice of Hanahaus Our Hassar and bore the family likeness to Guiding Flame.

Along the way I added outside blood from stud dogs who I hoped would compliment my girls.

My joy and main goal in breeding is to produce physically sound dogs with brains, who are able to adapt to the life-style of the family they live with. Prospective owners are encouraged to build a lasting relationship with me so that the welfare and happiness of their puppy is shared by all who have been involved in bringing the litter into the world.

If by reading these words and viewing our dogs, you are interested in owning a Voneiffel Rottweiler be prepared to sign a sales agreement with me to safeguard the future welfare of your puppy.

You must be prepared to take the puppy "out and about" and give it 100 new experiences in 100 days!

You must be prepared to go to a recognised training school who use "positive re-inforcement" training methods for at least the first 12 months of your pup’s life.

You must be prepared to welcome your puppy into your home so it can share your life as fully as possible, and you must be prepared to have your Rottweiler in your home with you.

I invite anyone interested in a Voneiffel puppy to look at our girls, to become familiar with our Contract of Sale, and begin the journey with the Voneiffel Rottweilers.
